I can’t even tell you how fast I read this book or how much I loved it without blathering on like a rambunctious idiot. The sex scenes are hot and there’s some humor in there that makes it oh so much more.
Even the other ‘officers’ are great! Anyway, back to Kyle and Vikash… you’d think with it being romance and paranormal that the suspense/mystery/cop aspect would get lost. They feel real and there’s some snarky humor with the paranormal abilities. The dynamics between Kyle and Vikash is spot on. Yeah, this book is one that I will be recommending everywhere and waiting (im)patiently for the sequel. Oh My God, get ready to laugh! There’s also some really good sex and a killer creature to catch.
Brilliant! Kyle sucks up people’s powers (and is so fabulously gay he sh*ts glitter) and his new partner is Vikash who has anger issues. How about some cool paranormal abilities like.teleporting fruit? Or a vampire that only drinks ‘skim’ blood and has fainting spells or a fire starter that has performance issues? This is fan-freaking-tastic! Welcome to the squad with defective paranormal abilities. I sat down to read a chapter or two and finished the whole damn book!)
